The Women’s Leadership Symposium celebrates, encourages, challenges and affirms the work of women at Wake Forest University. It engages students, faculty and staff in a conversation about the unique challenges of women in leadership. While topics range on an annual basis, all are derived from the core beliefs of exploring identity, developing shared community and empowering one another to impact the world around us.
This year’s symposium focused on enhancing efficacy through self-awareness. The break out sessions entailed a workshop to identify goals for post-graduation, a workshop to articulate personal narratives, a Q&A session with recent WFU alumni about personal and professional change, a presentation from four students who attended the Womensphere Leadership Conference in January and a keynote speaker.
