Campus Climate Support
You belong here — without exception.
At Wake Forest, we foster a community where all members matter, belong and thrive. Our efforts are undermined when someone experiences an incident, based on their identity, that negatively impacts them. Whether you need a listening ear, help navigating a difficult situation, or want to learn more about filing a complaint, our priority is making sure you are heard, protected, and fully supported.

What is a Campus Climate Concern
Campus climate concerns are behaviors or incidents that negatively affect someone’s sense of belonging – even if they don’t violate a specific university policy.
Who will respond, and what happens next?
If you submit a report, you won’t have to navigate the process alone. Our teams coordinate behind the scenes to connect you with the right care.
Timely Assessment
We assess the report to determine if there are any immediate concerns affecting you or the campus community.
Careful Review
If your report involves behavior that may violate University policy, that information will be shared with policy stakeholders, including the Office of Institutional Equity (OIE), to review and determine the appropriate next steps. You’ll then be personally connected with a Dean of Students CARE Case Manager, who will serve as your primary point of contact, help you understand what to expect and connect you with support and resources along the way.
Support
Someone will contact you by email or phone shortly after our team’s initial review to check in and offer direct care or connect you with the appropriate resources.
